By joining Ukraine Decolonial Studies Network, you support independent research on Ukraine’s decoloniality and its placement within the global postcolonial landscape. You will gain access to an innovative and engaged community of scholars and thinkers dedicated to overcoming the long-term effects of historical colonialism in Ukraine, as well as the immediate impact of Russia’s neocolonial war against Ukraine. Our aim is the reconstruction of knowledge, the pursuit of epistemic justice, and the dissemination of studies on Ukraine that have long been omitted from global discourse. We believe that the development of a resilient society and culture is closely interlinked with the production of new theories and practices of Ukraine’s resistance to colonial impacts.
